i live in stansbury and you can't fish there if you don't. fishing off of the bridge for carp can be very productive at times when fishing with bread and night crawlers also there are bluegill and sunfish but i they aren't very big. largemouth bass are pretty abundant also though they are very hard to catch.

The Stansbury lake is for residents of Stansbury and their guests. The majority of the lake is on private property but there are two main areas that can be fished... the boat docks and a large public area by the Stansbury library and clubhouse. There is also a causeway if you continue past the libray heading west. It is a right turn from the large houses over 4k square feet. You will have to park in front of someones home unless you want to walk over a mile. The main attraction is large mouth bass they seem particularly fond of crank bait. I also do fairly well using buzzers and other various spinners. I have been told that in the warm seasons the fishing is really good here.
