I've fished here various times of year hoping to to benfit from stocking reports. Rarely catch a fish. Obvious the herons cleanout all the fingerlings. To discourage preditory attrition, its been necessary to be proactive. I've taken to stuffn' a frog with old, lead sinkers, and leaving him in the shallows where the herons feed.
