While staying at the Killington Resort, I decided to do a little bass fishing. This lake was outstanding. On the very first day, i caught 15 bass all 2lbs plus! After catching seeral nice bass, i set my hook into a lunker bass and man what a battle. I didn't have my scale but i managed to get a length and girth measurement of 25 in by 16! So what thats about an 8 pounder? I talked to the guy at the bait shop and he tried to tell me that nothing was in Warehams Pond.... So a little tip for u, dont listen to the guides, give it a try. I caught most of my fish on jigs and wacky rigged YUM dingers. I caught a couple 3 pounders on crankbaits and jerkbaits. There are boat rentals but they run for 20 bucks an hour so dont waste your money and fish of the bank. Good Luck!!!

Sry just a little correction. This lake is not public and if you are not staying at the resort or dont have permission, you cannot fish this lake. There is always resort workers down at the lake who wont hesitate to make you leave.

I tried fishing this lake too. I couldn't catch anything but bluegill??? In case anyone was wondering, I caught the biggest BG on a small hook with bread using a traditional red and white bobber.
