From shore you can do fairly well catching rainbows with powerbait, but theres only a few places you can fish from shore. The best thing to do is troll, for trout stick to the shallower areas from the boat launch to where the cliffs begin, passed there you will start catching kokanee. Trout range from 9-20" (were some huge ones planted this year) and the kokanee go from 7-10".
