This lake has a bit of everything in it. Large mouth and small mouth bass, walleye, rainbows, perch, crappie, bluegill, whitefish, catfish, and with most lakes these days carp. I spend the bulk of my time fishing the soad lake dam where small mouth are king, the action is fast if you drift a worm on either side of the dam but for every good size bass you go through 5 little ones. Also as the sun starts to set the walleye will start to bite, most around 16".
