I've fished the ponds in the Vance creek area and they are good when planted with trout. The ponds also hold a variety of panfish (Perch, bluegill, crappie, catfish and bass). They also seem glutted with squawfish due to flooding that happens yearly on the Chehalis. Still a nice place to kill an afternoon. Note. One of the ponds is private and off limits to the public. It is marked.
