It is clear the locals don't want you to find this lake or especially the public fishing area. I had to ask 2 people just to get close. Hard to find and narrow and leads back to a 10 foot space for access. No table, no restroom, no welcome. If you don't mind feeling like one of the help, you may be ok. Me, I'm going back just to piss everyone off. And take my boat.

The public fishing access is sort of difficult to find but allows access to the water on foot or with a small boat or float tube. As for the fishing itself, I have the opprotunity to fish it regularly due to a friend who lives on it. The lake is great for small mouth bass. Any dock, group of lilly pads or cover is a surefire catch. The sizes range from 10-15 inches with the occasional lunker. I accidentaly found out the lake also have some beautiful cut throat trout as well. I would reccomend this lake to anyone looking to have a great day catching some fish or if you have juvenile anglers looking to refine thier skills.
