My family has been coming here since I can remember. My Great Grandpa used to lease the land where the campground and boat launch is. If you look closely you will find remnants of the foundations of his cabins. The fishing is usually good with a natural spawning population of cutthroat. There are a few big rainbows. I caught one from shore that measured out at a plump 16 inches.
