caught kokanee..just off the beach there. had many hits and was very promising

For late March the fish are getting pretty active. Caught 4 rainbow on wedding rings with steel leaders. Most fish were running at about 100ft., with a few strays here and there. Overall it was a great day to start the season, or end it since the new season isn't until April 1st.

the lake is very promising when the weather warms. It has a variety of spieces to include, rainbow,kokanee,large and smallmouth bass, perch, catfish, crappie, and blugill. Being such a large lake one must remember to scout as much as possible. I have fished the lake every year during the summer and fall months and have always been successfull. As oppossed to fishing for one spieces try fishing for the many different spieces available. Given the right environment, which happens not often for us "fisherman or woman" the lake will be a highlight on quest for the one. i am plannning a two day venture in july to slay them over. Tight lines!

I have heard there is no fish in the lake, but i haven't fished there.
