First time I have fished this lake in about ten years. In less than an hour and a half I caught 1 bluegill, 1 yellow perch and 2 large mouth bass from shore at the boat launch. I missed several bites between each fish that I caught. When the lake is planted with trout in the springtime they are fairly easy to catch particularly in the morning. In early fall there was no sign of any trout. There is some elodea in the lake but it is not a big concern as long as you stay up off the bottom.
