My family and I went there and we had the best time ever. We went fishing, as my 2 boys played in a role playing group with warriors and knights and swords and armor, etc. It was a beautiful day and had a great time. We plan on going there alot. The fishing was awesome. We got our limit of 20 trout between 4 adults. Great place for a family gather.

I have fished this "lake" numerous times over the last 2 years using many different baits and lures and not caught a thing. I have been told there are some good size fish there but i have yet to see them. It is a good walking park though.

for bass the best place is the very middle of the lake, for trout, use pork rinds and jig it along the shoreline, its called a jig and pig

the best spot is you go strait to the lake and then you look strait across from it and you'll see a point. go right to that point and fish there. thats where i get my limit everytime and theres no seaweed in that spot.

there are triploid trout which are a few pounds. i've caught some of those and they are tasty. when you are fishing for trout its best to use chartrouse power bait on a 3 prong hook. if you are fishing for yellow perch then have a 3 prong hook and you can either buy the gulp maggots or you can buy real ones at a whole sale sports.
