Caught a HUGE 6lb Rainbow out of this lake a few months ago. With it being such a large lake you can't fish here once and call it quits.

Great lake for kokanee, trout, perch, rock bass, and of course the little bullheads. Lots of limits off the docks at Bill's Boathouse using worms, power bait, and even shrimp.

Could someone please tell me where at the lake you can go to fish? We went to the Harry Todd park, but we're wondering if there is an actual fishing dock somewhere there? My email is MySunMoonStars76 at gmail.com . Thank you so much!!!

ive always caught fish and alot of species. keep in mind this lake is overran by trout and rockbass. there are trout here year -round because there are so many, my opinion there really is no need to stock it. fishing the lake i hear one side is better this and that but again there is fish everywhere i catch them everywhere. trout love cold water the best spots for them are weed lines, end of docks, 5m.p.h floats, and drop off. these areas contain alot of insect and bait fish these trout are very aggressive, they well hit bait, spinners, ect. i caugh them on alot of different things. the kokenees and cutthroat are a lil different they like the end of docks and deep water best bait i found nightcrawlers and small spinners. the smallmouth are everywhere but i see bass fisherman using sinkos, spinnerbaits, ect. but these fish areant eating things that big. they love brown grubs and smaller plastics try jigging or drop-shotting small plastics, color brown. i caught a few on small 3-inch black leeches(remember leeches ARE everywhere in washington lakes). perch and rockbass are everywere they will hit nightcrawlers and small plastics. the landlock steelhead are harder to catch you got to put some time into it. they hang on trees docks and points, you have to keep your distance try jerkbaits(if you have a certain lure for it fish these areas) if you dont catch fish try different depths top, suspending, and bottom they are there just got to fish for them. keep in mind washington lake fish are not like other places. try down sizing your gear and lures. any questions on washington lakes e-mail me at albfishin2 aol.com.
