Late Spring through summer excellent fishing. Many different species to catch! You'll catch a lot of Bass, perch, rock bass, bluegill in the shallows along cover and stumps with any lures. Trout population is both natural and stocked. Occasionally you can land some large carp. The Public area is pretty good for fishing, but your gonna need a boat to experience the best fishing.

i go fishing here all year round even when the fish arent biting, just to get away. During the summer, the fishing here is most excellent, as there are numerous species available to catch. Off the boat launch on Edgewater drive, there is a sandbar about 35 feet out. Dropping a line on this spot in August can yield many bass, whereas dropping your line anywhere around this sandbar can yield trout, since it drops off to be quite deep.
