I have a cabin on the lake and the fishing has been diverse and changing over the past fifteen plus years. There has always been a fair amount of trout however you must work for the bigger ones. There are a few bass and perch but again many are 10 inches and under. Fishing around the edges you will run into problems of many (hundreds) of 4-6 inch weird round fish that get annoying. Despite these petty problems if you spend a day on the lake you cant walk away without dinner. Also there are many bottom feeding tench that are amazing to fish for. Being about 20-40 feet off shore(docks are best) and sending a worm or corn to the bottom will land you 12-24 inch tench in a matter of minutes. For first times spending time on a dock on these lakes will not get boring due to all the smaller fish that swarm any bait dropped in. however making it past them lands you huge tench. Over all this is a diverse lake that takes more then a day or two to experience in full. With the scenery and exclusiveness its a perfect pacific north western getaway.

I also have a cabin on this lake system. And agree with the previous statement - however fishing seems to be best in this system in the spring via boat, early summer through late fall doesn't seem to be an active time for the fish. Dock and shore fishing has gone downhill in recent years with the exception of tench. An annual tench tournament provides some entertainment - see fish and game for dates and rules. These lakes are shallow and warm and may be better suited in the future for bass and perch. My catches usually include Rainbow, Tiger, and Brook Trout along with the occasional Tench and Crappie off the dock.
