I have fished here for two years and last year it was not as good as the year before becuase of the long winter. I really like this lake it has some huge rainbow and some preety good sized bass. It also has purch. It is best with a boat and has some good night fishing.

Hit the water at the Public Launch about 0730 yesterday morning...somewhat nasty with the cold wind blowing. We headed for the neck in the northeast corner of the lake figuring to get in shallower water as a big part of this lake is 45'-75' deep. Nothing on the fish finder all the way across. Once up in the neck it was fighting the cold wind all the way to the end with only a few fish showing up so we headed out and started down the East shore. There were two areas between the neck and the association area where we caught and those two areas were fairly calm. When we got out of those two areas and back in the wind, nothing. We were close to shore where the water was running 8'-10' deep using a two spinner trolling shaft and a harness on a leader or shaft that I build. I caught my limit (five) and my son-in-law caught two...after he switched over to a set-up like mine.
