I fished there last year around this time and the fishing was imaculate. It seemed the brookies were just warming up to the lake and starting to feed on the variety of aquatic insects, alond with the rathe large triploid rainbows. Using a parachute i was able to lant three 14" triploids and five 8' brookies and the fishing stayed great.

fishing was slow from 1-4pm, nearly nothing feeding from the surface. Then Zang, hatch after hatch popped, and it was dinner time for the trout. Caught one large triploid, many small rainbows. Pick your fly carefully, or you'll be skunked like many other anglers out there.
