I spent many summer weeks there while growing up. My great aunt and uncle lived there and owned and built the lake. We stayed with my grandparents who also lived at the lake. My grandfather(Pappy Smith) helped alot with the construction. At that time there were only seven houses there. We spent time salamander hunting, building dams, catching turtles and frogs to eat,and mostly fishing. At that time the fishing was fantastic. I havn't been there for fifteen years. Big bluegill, largemouth bass, and the best tasting catfish in the world. I hope to get back there some day to see my cousins Karen and Doug. Great people.
