Prior to 3 years ago, this lake was a fisherman's dream. Bass, sunnies, crappie, and an occasional walleye or musky. The VHS virus hit this lake hard and I am waiting for it to make a comeback. I will be there next week (from California) to try again and see if the effects of the virus have played out. If it is over, the bass fishing could be a dream again!
