We used to stay at Mercer Lake Resort (still there)in the late 50's and early 60's. Probably some of the largest crappies I have ever seen, good walleye, excellent smallies, gppd ,musky. From all the reports that I hear, Mercer has gotten better over the years. Only problem is access. You either have to be at one of the resorts or go in a canoe from the outlet creek, and that is a long paddle.
