I fished here all day and only caught 2 fish. Both were very small. I tried several flies and several rooster tail style lures and nothing worked. Don't waste time on this lake. Try Lake Louis

Fished four days, total of about 6 hours. Caught about 45. Most were 8in. to 10in. brook. One 12 inch golden, I think, and one 16 inch brown. I don't often fish for trout, so species identification may be off. Spinners and small spoons, only three different lures. In the evening, fish would stop hitting lures and seemed to be feeding on insects, so I assume fly fishing would produce. Barely moved 100 yards on the shallow side of the lake, away from where most of the fish rose, so I think some effort would produce more and or larger fish.
