I have fished Brooks Lake several times in the past few decades, usually in late June and July. Plentiful good size brookies and rainbows. Fish with worms or eggs in the deeper areas along the SW side. Wade out to the drop off near the NW corner and use small jigging spoons such as Swedish Pimples. Most trout will bite on the drop.
