Awesome place to fish and hike. All we caught were native cutthroat in about 25 feet of water(hard to hit the bottom the lake is well over 200ft feet deep). Fished for 5 days and caught dozens a day(catch and release). The secret was a lure called "INJAN JOE" It was orange with a red lighting bolt but had a black dot in the middle......They left my Dare Devils alone that looked like it until I took a marker and put a black dot in the middle, than WHAM.....
