Recipe for Bourbon Salmon Marinade

1 lb. Salmon Steak or fillets
3 TBS. Good Bourbon *
1/4 C. Brown Sugar
3 TBS. Chopped Onion
2 TBS. Soy Sauce
2 TBS. Vegetable Oil
1 TBS. Minced Ginger Root
In a small bowl, mix marinade ingredients. Pour ingredients into a reseal able bag. Add Salmon and refrigerate 1-6 hours. Remove salmon from marinade. In a non stick fry pan w/ a small amount of cooking oil, fry the salmon over low to medium heat. Continue to fry until the salmon is brown on both sides and thoroughly done. ( The salmon browns quickly because there is sugar in the marinade.)

* The bourbon needs to be of the same quality that you serve to guests.
