Codfish fillets
Flour
Salt
Eggs
Milk
Whole Pepper
Fish Breading or finely chopped crackers
Cooking Oil
Sift flour, salt, and whole pepper together.
Mix the egg and milk, in an even amount (2 eggs = approx. 1 cup) til you have a necessary amount.
Using a firm fish such as catfish, salmon, halibut, codfish, or monkfish (be sure to de-bone the fish), cut into uniform size pieces. Coat the pieces with seasoned flour. Dip four coated pieces into an egg wash. Roll pieces in a fish breading or finely crushed crackers. Fry the nuggets in a good frying oil, and be sure the oil is hot when you put the fish into the oil to cook. Cook until golden brown, turning once.
