Serves 4
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 1/2 pounds halibut steak, cut into 4 equal pieces
1/2 cup cracker meal
In a small saucepan, combine oil and curry powder and cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
Dredge fish steaks in cracker meal, coating all sides evenly.
Pour oil off curry powder into a nonstick skillet and discard curry powder. Add fish and sauté over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
