Recipe for Plaki

2 lbs. sliced fish (your choice)
1/2 lb. onions
1 sm. glass white wine
1 sm. glass water
1 c. tomato sauce or 1 lb. fresh
sliced tomatoes
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. bread crumbs
Salt & pepper to taste

Put chopped onion in oil to fry until golden brown and add wine, water, salt and pepper. Add the sliced fish. Add tomato sauce diluted with a little water or place a slice of fresh tomato on each slice of fish. Sprinkle with parsley, bread crumbs and a little more salt. Cover and let simmer for 1/2 hour. Serve on a platter and pour sauce on top.
