Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

4 sl Bacon, diced
1 Stalk celery, diced
2 Onions, sliced
4 Green peppers, cut in

1 Clove garlic, minced
2 No 2 cans okra
1 No 2 can tomatoes
1/2 c Catsup
1 cn Beer
1 lb Shrimp, cooked
-salt and pepper
4 c Cooked rice
Cook bacon; reserve. Saute celery, onions, green
peppers and garlic in bacon fat until soft. Drain
okra; add with tomatoes, catsup and beer. Simmer till
thick. Add shrimp and bacon. Heat well. Season to
taste with salt and pepper. Serve with rice.
