Recipe for Shrimp in Orange Sauce

Serves 4
1 pound freshwater shrimp
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 clove garlic, chopped
Juice of 1 orange
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup Anisette (or 1 tablespoon Anise seed)
Salt and pepper to taste

Melt olive oil and butter in a pan. Add garlic and shrimp. Stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove shrimp from pan. Add juice of 1 orange, white wine and Anisette. Cook over high heat until sauce reduces and thickens. Remove from heat and return shrimp to pan. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with hot rice.
