Recipe for Crab & Rice

Serves 6
1 Cup uncooked rice
16 ounce can tomato paste
1/2 Cup chopped onion
1/2 Cup chopped celery
1/4 Cup chopped bell pepper
3 strips bacon
2 Tablespoon Old Bay spice
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
2 Cups water
1 1/2 Cup cooked crab meat

Fry bacon, then saute onions, celery and peppers in the bacon fat. Add the rest of the ingredients, then simmer until the rice is done (45 minutes or so).
